Our colour matching service allows you to select anything from the RAL Colours range, we colour match Farrow and Ball paint schemes. We can also provide a wide array of wood stains including Oak Stains, Idigbo Stains & Sapele Stains.

Our lanterns offer very good thermal ratings with a through the glass thermal rating of 1.2 W/m²K. Good thermal efficiency is essential for reducing energy waste. Precise manufacturing ensures kit pieces fit together seamlessly, maximising efficiency.

Roof lanterns from Prestige are constructed using high quality Sapele hardwood as standard. Sapele is an ideal for opaque-painted & dark coloured translucent stained roof lanterns.

We also use a powder-coated aluminium capping system on the outside of lanterns (optional) to minimise timber exposure to the elements prolonging the life of the lantern and providing additional weatherproofing properties.

Our weatherproofing system uses gaskets which sit on top of the hips, rafters & eaves beams of the lantern with the glass sitting on top. Additionally we use an aluminium capping system which also sits on top of the glass with additional rubber gaskets that are screwed down to hold everything in place. Our twin-gasket system ensures that once installed (properly) any water that manages to penetrate the first gasket will fall on to inner gaskets that allow water to drain out at the bottom of the roof pitch – making it almost impossible for the roof to leak.
